I saw your post about the Arts & Faith Top 100 list on Twitter. Thanks for reminding me about that. A few years ago I made a goal to watch all of the films on AFI’s Top 100 list(s). I’ve nearly accomplished that, but now I think I want to make the Arts & Faith list my new goal. It’ll be much more daunting, but ultimately much more fulfilling.
I’ve only seen 20 of the Arts & Faith films, but I’ve probably gotten more out of those 20 films than I have with most of AFI’s. I realize the two lists aren’t mutually exclusive, but I want to start pursuing, to paraphrase Paul, more of what is true, lovely, and admirable.
