Seeing that pick of Clooney and Swinton, I’m tempted to ask… what’s the strangest, most unexpected big-screen “bedfellows” you’ve ever seen?
But I’m afraid of the answers I might get.
(I must say, seeing Samuel Jackson and Juliette Binoche under the same sheets in that movie about the truth and reconciliation hearings in South Africa nearly traumatized me. Perhaps that’s why I’ve already forgotten the title of the film. No, it had nothing to do with race. It’s just… their careers, their personalities, their lack of chemistry… it was just a preposterously bad idea.)
